SE1168 - Buddle Support Services - Supplier Engagement Notice Sport England recognises the importance of community clubs and groups in the network of opportunities for people to be physically active. Buddle is Sport England's programme to provide support volunteers running these organisations and the professional workforce who support them. The Buddle website has free, convenient and practical resources for community organisations that deliver sport and physical activity, helping them grow and become more sustainable and successful. The programme also includes delivery of workshops and webinars (face to face and on-line) to create practical learning and networking opportunities for volunteers and the professional workforce. We will shortly be going out to tender for services to deliver the Buddle programme from April 2025 through to March 2028. Description Sport England is committed to supporting clubs and community groups who provide opportunities for sport and physical activity. We want to support these organisations to provide positive opportunities and embed inclusion, diversity and equitable practice Sport England's Buddle programme centres around a website providing free, convenient and practical resources for clubs and groups, helping them grow and become more sustainable and successful. Buddle also includes delivery of free workshops and webinars (face to face and on-line) to create practical learning and networking opportunities for volunteers and the professional workforce. Buddle.co The programme is made up of three delivery elements: - Stakeholder engagement, content development and programme co-ordination - Workshops and learning development - Buddle Programme evaluation The objectives for this work are: Engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholder and partners who can support creation of content and promote Buddle across their networks/membership. Create engaging and relevant web content based on a sound understanding of the needs of volunteers and the professional workforce who support them. Organise and deliver the existing suite of Buddle workshops (face to face and on-line) and continue to evolve and develop the workshop offer. Showcase best practice from across the sector Clear alignment of the Buddle programme to Uniting the Movement ambitions. Evaluation of both the operational and strategic impact of the programme.
