The Employer wishes to have the design and construction of the following work carried out: The design, construction and handover of 59 Nr domestic dwellings together with site preparation, mains drainage, utility installations as well as associated external works and landscaping as per section 1-17 of the contract documents. This contract is let on a JCT Design and Build Contract and has been divided into two distinct phases. Phase 1 entails all relevant investigation works, surveys, and infrastructure development for the entire site, along with the construction of 59 dwellings. Phase 2 may be awarded depending on the performance and ability to negotiate a contract sum and will be a variation of the JCT Design and Build Contract. The award of phase 2 will be at the sole discretion of the employer and will involve the redesign and construction of the remaining 54 dwellings This underlying contract is awarded Via a Direct Selection from lot 3B of the EN:Procure Framework Agreement for New Build Housing dated 17th December 2019 (OJEU Contract Notice 2019/ 1217-006662)
