Site Visit Information - Cheshire East Woodland Creation Scheme 24-25

Cheshire East Council intends to enter into a procurement process to procure a contract with a single supplier for the provision of woodland planting and maintenance across 3 council owned sites within the borough of Cheshire East. The scope of the service is anticipated to include ground preparation, tree supply, tree planting, establishment, beating up and maintenance. This prior information notice is published to advertise an invitation to visit each of the 2024/2025 Woodland Creation scheme sites, site visits will be held between 5th - 7th June 2024. Organisations who wish to participate in site visits must register their interest and send a message to confirm attendance via the project messaging area of The Chest e-tendering portal. The time limit for confirming attendance at site visits is 5:00 pm on 30th May 2024. Further details are contained in this prior information notice at section II.2.4 which outlines the location and relative dates for each site visit. Participation in this market engagement exercise is not a requirement for participation in any future procurement process undertaken by Cheshire East Council, nor is it intended that site visits will have the effect of distorting future competition or violating the principles of non-discrimination and transparency.
